Toasted Turkish Bread, pictured above with Hummus, is my choice of dipping implement! Ensure you find a good quality turkish loaf, it should be fresh, light and chewy. Greengrocers often stock turkish loaves that are cheaper and of better quality than those you will find in the supermarket.
This is how I prepare my Toasted Turkish Bread.
Step 1 - Preheat oven to 220°C
Step 2 - Cut turkish loaf in half lengthwise, then cut into fingers or wedges.
Step 3 - Place cut side up in a baking tray, in a single layer, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
Step 4 - Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown
Can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days.
